Account Executive – Media Division – East Coast and West Coast

IMT is looking for key contributors to join our sales force and take advantage of the growing market demand for digital media creation, conversion, and content distribution systems integrated with large IT infrastructure. The transition to digital distribution and the internet is forcing new and old media companies to adopt file based workflows and enterprise class network and storage systems that support high definition TV, digital cinema distribution down to mobile devices and game consoles.

Media companies are re-architecting their digital media infrastructure. IMT designs, develops, and installs a broad range of “best of class” technologies to solve complex digital media infrastructure problems. IMT’s customers include the major media conglomerates as well as the large ecosystem of companies that depend on mission critical media technology integration.

Qualifications

  • 5 + years media or enterprise technology sales experience
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Video Systems Integrator or Reseller experience preferred
  • Understanding of visual effects, film, and television production
  • Experience with information technology systems, servers, networking, storage, and data archive tools
  • Understanding of file based workflows, ingest, encoding, visual effects applications, digital asset management, near-line storage, archival storage, and Professional Services
  • Organized and self motivated
  • A proven record of driving successful customer sales engagements

  • Drive revenue
  • Qualify sales opportunities and engage customers over an extended sales cycle
  • Keep vendor sales certifications and training up to date
  • Work collaboratively with sales management and systems engineering teams
