Systems Engineer

Position Overview
The Systems Engineer provides technical project delivery, technical support, engineering and integration for projects. The position will work with the Project Management Organization (PMO), Sales, and Sales Engineering to deliver client projects on time, within budget and scope.

Responsibilities and Duties


• Develop an optimal cohesive product portfolio that maximizes profit to support the solutions delivered to clients
• Delivery of projects to clients on time and within scope of the project
• Complete required external and internal trainings for both personal and corporate growth
• Manage time efficiently through the use of IMT provided tools, team members and external resources, as necessary
• Ensure that a high level of technical competency is maintained within the company for all products, solutions and services delivered
• Continuously build and strengthen the brand and the value of IMT from an engineering perspective
• Be responsive to IMT support organization to ensure SLA’s are met
• Troubleshoot incoming customer problems through email, phone, remote or onsite
• Work with existing support team to provide resolution to customer issues
• Research and respond to customer requests and provide detailed explanations to address questions and concerns
• Maintain the accuracy for each client’s IT asset management repository
• Support and instill best practices and tools for execution and management
• Create technical documentation as necessary: SOW/ Proposals, knowledge base data technical diagrams, project documentation and system processes
• Write technical documents such as: Statement of Work, client training manuals, and project documentation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the technical management of clients, partners and product manufacturers
• Ability to conceptualize and effectively communicate to clients/prospects, IMT systems and services solutions to a diverse audience

• Strong written communication skills to create technical proposals, statements of work, present test results and write customer success stories
• Ability to meet deadlines, follow-through on commitments, and take corrective action where appropriate
• Assist the customer and the Professional Services team in the installation and configuration of equipment as needed at customer sites and the IMT lab
• Working within client site and respecting their rules and guidelines while on-site
• Extended hours may be required in meet project deadlines
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
• Presentable and professional during client/prospect meetings and engagements
• Travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or on-site personnel/management
